The healing process can range from five to 12 days. Brows may be red and sensitive for the first 24 hours and will appear darker then the expected shade. There may be some light scabbing or flaking as the pigment settles into its shape.
Your brow line is sculpted into your preferred shape via wax or tweeze. Personalized coloured Henna is then applied through the shape of your brows and allowed to soak into the skin for 15 minutes. Henna is then removed leaving you with beautiful full brows for weeks.
Swelling and redness will be present for 24 hrs following the procedure. The treated area must be kept clean and sanitized for three days. Do not apply any makeup during that time. Peeling and lightening of color is expected. The typical healing time is between four and seven days.
If you are prone to cold sores, make sure to take medication prior to treatment to prevent an outbreak.
You will experience minor redness and irritation for one to two days after your treatment. Results will show in as little as two weeks making the skin look plump and voluminous.
This treatment is for those looking to improve the look of scars, boost collagen or encourage hair growth. The purpose of treatment is to regenerate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin making pores appear smaller, and wrinkles less visible.
Your skin may appear red or flush for the remainder of the day but shouldn’t be long before your skin is glowing. Do not cleanse or moisturizer until the following morning.
You must avoid the sun for 24 to 48 hours post treatment and wear sunscreen for the following five days.
Make sure you schedule all other spa treatments for before your spray tan, including facials, massages, waxing, and mani/pedis.
If you choose to shave, you should do so beforehand, though not immediately before. Shave earlier in the day and rinse with ice cold water, as that will close your pores, making sure the tan doesn’t get caught in there and appear as little brown dots. Use a new razor blade, to avoid having your tan fade unevenly.
Exfoliating prior to your tan is one of the most important ways to help your tan last and look its best. Remember not to wear anything on your skin for your tanning appointment, avoid perfume, creams, lotions, deodorant, and make-up.
You should plan to strip down, at least mostly. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable in what you are wearing.
Make sure to let your spray tan consultant know about any previous experiences, skin conditions, concerns and if you are breast-feeding prior to your appointment.
Your tan can take up to 12 hours to develop. For the best results, there are a few steps you can take:
If you have properly prepped and cared for your skin prior to your tan, it should last for 5 – 7 days. Your face and hands will begin to fade sooner based on how often you wash them.
When showering, use lukewarm water, a pH balanced body wash, and pat dry with a towel when you get out. Hydrating your skin is also important. Use only recommended moisturizers as certain oils can strip away your tan.
